How do I download and install Jive Mobile?

On March 31, 2020, Jive Mobile for iOS will be discontinued and replaced with GoToConnect Mobile. Jive Mobile for Android will be available until further notice.

  1. Download Jive Mobile for your phone's operating system:
  2. Tap Sign in and then log in with your Jive credentials.
  3. Tap Login.
  4. From your Android's home screen, go to Settings > Applications > Application Manager > Jive > Permissions. To maximize functionality, Jive recommends enabling all of the following settings:
    Setting Description
    Camera Allows the app to use the device’s camera.
    Contacts Allows the app to access contacts stored on your device; merging your personal contacts with the system directory.
    Location Allows the app to access your location. This must be enabled to apply location based rules.
    Microphone Allows the app to use the device’s microphone.
    Phone Allows the app to make and receive calls.
  5. From your iPhone's home screen, go to Settings > Jive. To maximize functionality, Jive recommends enabling all of the following settings:
    Setting Description
    Location Allows the app to access your location. This must be enabled to apply location based rules.
    Contacts Allows the app to access contacts stored on your device; merging your personal contacts with the system directory.
    Microphone Allows the app to use the device’s microphone.
    Siri & Search Allows information from the app to appear in Search, Look Up, and Keyboard. Siri may learn from and make suggestions based on how you use the app.
    Notifications Defines how notifications are displayed on your device for incoming calls, messages, etc.
    Background App Refresh Allows the app to receive phone calls, messages, etc. when it is open but not actively running on the screen.
    Cellular Data Allows the app to use cellular data when not connected to Wi-Fi.
