A few of the frequently asked questions have been:
Q: When will we be switching?
A: Monday, August 1, 2022 is the expected go live for Zoom phone. We have requested our phone numbers be transferred. If there is a problem transferring numbers there could be a delay.
Q: Are our phone numbers staying the same?
A: Yes
Q: Does Zoom phone have texting?
A: Yes, all users will be able to send SMS messages in Zoom phone. That feature isn’t appearing yet, because the numbers haven’t been transferred from our current system.
Q: What about new phones?
A: Many users elected to use the Zoom app for smart phones or on a computer. If you did not make that choice, we will be replacing your current phone with a new Yealink T33G phone. The buttons and features are similar to current phones, just a newer model.
